Subject: this is excellent
a truly important film in the archive. Unfortunately white racists have no sense that african americans would rebel because of the hundreds of years of slavery, oppression and murder by the white racists. Starting in the 1970's we finally saw that blacks were making gains after the establishment of their rights through protest and rightful rebellion. The progress had continued into the 1990's. But with Reagonmics and white patriotism, continued by every president since, dem or republican, the dismantling of glass/stegel under Clinton, and the wars of bush and Obama, blacks are again being scapegoated and targeted by authority as a distraction from the economic and diplomatic and domestic failures of the corporate lead US government.
